WHY?
Do you have a sustainable business model, product, idea, or would like to take the first step in this direction, but need creative input and thoughtful implementation? Do you see sustainability as a long-term opportunity for health and economy and are looking for a partner who understands your values and thinks ahead?
Sustainability is not just a business concept or buzzword for him, Max lives it personally. With over 18 years experience as an independent designer and creative director for many national and international brands and companies, with a strong background in the music, fashion and lifestyle industries, he understands complex requirements. Max develops creative solutions and implements them sustainably. He is a member of the professional association for communication design bdg.
WHO?
Since successfully graduating from the Peter Behrens School of Arts Düsseldorf in 2007, Max has been working as a independend designer. In 2009 he moved to the beautiful city of Hamburg for the love and the good breeze. In addition to his great passion as a designer, he loves his family and friends, music, food and the great outdoors.

ECOLOGICAL RESPONSIBILITY
Based on the 17 UN sustainability goals, Max uses green electricity, doesn’t own a car and instead rides his bike or uses public transport. Also for longer business or private trips he likes to take the train, public transport or rent a bike to minimise his carbon footprint.
Around 50% of his clothes are second-hand and he rarely buys new clothes. Instead of throwing away clothes, furniture, electrical equipment and other things, he tries to repair or upcycle them. He buys refurbished electrical stuff or rents them. He only uses recycled paper for printing and tries to avoid printing. Max separates his waste and tries to minimise it. His communication with his clients is almost entirely digital.
He critically reviews his own actions and constantly tries to optimise them.
Admitting mistakes and being open to change and adaptation are essential - because nobody is perfect.

It will therefore be circular.”
